Similarly, furniture comes under the microscope with matching sets fading for the coming period, instead replaced with individual pieces, purposefully mismatched that reflect personal style and company culture.
Mid-century modern design popular in the 1950’s and 1960’s made a comeback and could be seen in most office spaces in the past decade, a classic office look dominated by walnut, oak and spindle legs will move to more futuristic, sleek and progressive look and feel for the future.
A growing trend continues to be Industrial interior elements such as exposed stonework, high ceilings, wood and metal elements, and neutral colours.
This simplistic style may be a rising trend in 2021 as people continue to work remotely. Industrial style has a mix of modern and traditional design and works for interiors that are multifunctional and serve as places to live, work and reset.
