Since their formation in 2001, Allied World have built a reputation as a strong supplier of insurance and reinsurance solutions globally with a worldwide network of offices and a NYSE listing.
Appointed as Main Contractor, Sonica’s brief was to modernize Allied World’s existing Dublin office while they remained in situ during the course of the works. The phased approach to the process involved meticulous planning with Allied World’s appointed management team so that the overall programme could be broken down into daily milestones.
The scope involved increasing the level of open plan allowances in the space via. removal of existing cellular offices, M&E augmentations to supplement the additional head count, new canteen facilities, meeting facilities, floor finishes and a complete workstation package renewal.
The bulk of the works were conducted outside of normal office hours to minimize the impact to the Client’s day-to-day operations, with the Sonica Site Team delivering against every milestone in the process from start to finish.
